     Objectives


​​​​​​​     Purpose of Financing

Financing Rate

  • Up to 3.5% per annum, inclusive of the guarantee fee for financing approved on or before 31 December 2025.
  • For financing approved after 31 December 2025, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will review and updates on any changes to the rate based on current market conditions.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

RM400 million

Guarantee Coverage

80% guarantee coverage from Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP)

Types of Financing

Term Loan/Tawarruq Term Financing-i

Financing Limit

Up to RM500,000 per eligible SME

Note: Subject to the maximum aggregate amount of financing under BNM’s Fund of RM5 million for any related SMEs with common shareholder(s), unless the related SMEs have different workforces.

Maximum Financing Tenure

Up to 7 years

Availability Period ​​​​​​​

The availability period is until full utilisation of the fund

Eligibility

  • Malaysian owned and controlled SMEs that registered in Malaysia.
  • SMEs that are involved in any tourism-related sectors or activities and/or licensed/registered with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC).
  • Confined to the Shariah compliant business and requirements (For Islamic Facilities)
  • The eligible tourism sectors or activities include, but are not limited to, those listed in the National Tourism Policy 2020-2030:
    • Ecotourism;
    • Adventure tourism;
    • Youth tourism;
    • Sports tourism;
    • Cultural and heritage tourism;
    • Community-based tourism;
    • Island tourism;
    • Coastal tourism;
    • Urban tourism
    • Shopping tourism;
    • Medical and wellness tourism;
    • Meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) tourism;
    • Cross-border tourism;
    • Rural/agro tourism;
    • Cruise tourism;
    • Special interest tourism; and
    • Muslim-friendly tourism
