Objectives

High Tech & Green (HTG)/ High Tech & Green-i (HTG-i) Financing is a Term Loan/Term Financing-i facility offered by the bank to finance eligible Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) which involved in strategic sectors or critical technology segments to reset, invest, and grow their business opportunities.
HTG/HTG-i will also be available for financing solutions in green technologies such as renewable energy, biofuels, electric vehicles, smart grid solutions, agritech, and circular economy to waste management.

Purpose of Financing

For capital expenditure (CAPEX) or/and working capital purpose

Allocation

RM800 million

Financing Rate

For financing without guarantee, the effective financing rate is at 3.50% per annum.

For financing with guarantee, the effective financing rate is at 5.00% per annum inclusive of guarantee fee.

Collateral

No collaterals required

Guarantee Coverage
(if applicable)

80% of guarantee coverage from Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP) /Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC)

Financing Type

Term Loan/Tawarruq Term Financing-i

Financing Limit

Financing amount up to maximum of RM10 mil.

Financing Tenure

Up to 10 years or 120 months.

Availability Period

The availability period of fund ends December 2023 or upon full utilisation of the fund (whichever earlier).

Eligibility

Classification of SME as defined by National SME Development Council/SME Corporation and registered in Malaysia.
Malaysian owned or controlled entity with not less than 51% shareholding.
SME with not less than three (3) years in business inclusive of management experience in similar business for at least three (3) years with personal guarantee taken from key person(s).
Customer who has already received Special Relief Facility (SRF), PENJANA SME Financing (PSF) and/or PENJANA Tourism Financing (PTF) are not eligible for working capital financing purpose BUT allowed to apply for CAPEX financing only.
