Eligibility & Requirements

Requirements

  • To qualify, customers must meet one of the following criteria; Applicants must be Malaysian citizens born in the state of Selangor, as verified by MyKad identification code '10’.
  • Be a student with an address in Selangor; Have a residential address in Selangor; or Have an office address in Selangor.
  • Customers are required to provide supporting documents to the Bank to verify their status. Acceptable documents include: an education letter; Confirmation of learning institution on the status; Student ID card (Matrix Card); Electricity bill, water bill, or telephone bill; Lease agreement; Employment letter; Bank statement; or any other document as may be required by the Bank.

  • Personal

Minimum Age

  • Individual or joint account (18 years old and above)

Nationality

  • Malaysian, Permanent Resident and Non-Resident

Initial Deposit

  • Zero initial deposit (Customers are given a 90-day grace period to make the initial deposit into the account.)

Minimum Balance to Maintain

  • The minimum balance required to be maintained in the savings account at all the times is RM1.00.
